I could do some messing around in Photoshop to try and put a grid together and make the maps through it, but I would like something a bit easier to work with since I'm going to have to chop the maps up into pieces in order to get them into roll20 anyhow. Hex Kit is a bit too simplistic for what i'm looking for, and is also a world map editor that and I cant get the hexes to line up on roll20 even when i set it to export for roll20 (70 pixels) and you cannot paint with the hexes as far as i can tell, the paintbrush tools only work with squares.
Worldographer has hex grids for world and village maps, but squares for battle maps and i cant find any option to make it hexes.ĭungeon Painter Studio has a hex grid but only horizontal Hexes when I would like to use vertical ones. The vast majority of them are world map or village map makers rather than battle map makers.
